This song is a special one, cause it marks quite a change in the type of music I'm making and want to make in the future. Follow You has been with me for a while, with its first words written down in a lodge cabin, high up in the Rocky Mountains. It traveled with me to Australia, where I finished it with my good friend and co-producer Lee Benari. For me, this song is about surrender. I wrote it in a time when I wasn't quite sure I could do this. Writing music is all I've ever wanted to do, but it can be a scary and uncertain path to take. In the midst of fear, I wanted to hear a song that reflected exactly how I felt, so I wrote it. It's about being at the edge of a cliff, knowing you have to freefall. When you hear your heart calling, it's always a little scary cause you know it's going to demand more of you than you thought you could give. This song is me feeling all that and saying, "alright! i'm all in."

I hope that you take whatever you need from this song. I hope it gives you courage and helps you see that even though I'm not physically next to you on your journey, you're never alone.
